Granite Noir, Aberdeen with Ann Cleeves (Vera, Shetland) & more: Feb 21st, 8pm
I’m delighted to be returning to Aberdeen’s brilliant Granite Noir festival on February 21st: we’ll be celebrating book and telly phenomenon Shetland. I’ll be in conversation with Shetland’s brilliant creator Ann Cleeves (who’s also responsible for the wonderful Vera), and we’ll also be joined by two of Shetland’s TV stars - former A Kick Up The Arts special guest Dawn Steele, and Alison O’Donnell - AND the show’s expert consultant, Dr James Grieve.
Aberdeen Music Hall, 8pm, Saturday February 21st. We’d love to see you! Tickets and lots more programme info here.
And, in the meantime, you can listen to Dawn and I in conversation from last year’s Granite Noir - with Dawn reflecting on her love of Deacon Blue’s Raintown, Tutti Frutti, and Shuggie Bain - if you fancy, wherever you get your podcasts - or right here!
